The Legacy Foundation honors women of excellence, service, and culture. As a part of our community impact, we celebrate the strength, resilience and beauty of our mothers. This year we will be celebrating one woman for the Lady of Legacy award. The recipient will receive a gift to make their holiday season brighter for them, and their babies. Proverbs 13:22 says, “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children,” suggesting that our legacy should benefit not only our children but also generations to come. In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, we’re encouraged to teach God’s commandments to our children, showing that a legacy of faith and obedience to God is enduring. Ultimately, the Bible teaches that our greatest legacy lies in a life lived with love, integrity, and faithfulness, impacting others in a way that honors God.

Building a legacy isn’t just about grand gestures—it’s in the small, intentional choices we make every day. We can start by living our values consistently: showing kindness, integrity, and respect in our interactions with others. Take time to share stories, lessons, and family traditions with loved ones, giving them a sense of identity and history. Prioritize meaningful relationships, invest in people, and mentor when possible, leaving a positive mark on those around us. Legacy today- A reminder about false loyalty to the wrong legacy

Remember, no job is worth more than your well-being or personal growth. If you were to leave today, the position would be posted before you were even out the door. Your loyalty should first be to yourself and your own dreams—because companies will replace you, but you can’t replace time missed with loved ones or pursuing what truly matters to you. So, use the PTO, invest in your own goals, and build something that reflects your passions. Spend time making your name, brand, and vision stronger than any corporate title. Your legacy is worth more than any job description.
